My Services

I am currently accepting orders for commissions. In order to reserve a spot on my books and guarantee my current pricing, I require a 50% non-refundable deposit. The balance is payable upon completion of the piece, prior to delivery.

Although I have used several mediums in the past, currently I am only working in colored pencils. I use only the finest quality pencils and papers; which if framed under museum glass and displayed out of direct sunlight will maintain lightfastness beautifully for many years to come.

Prices

Prices are based on one subject (head and neck). The sizes are based on paper size. The portrait will be placed on the paper to allow for framing without appearing crowded. Shipping is extra.

12” x 15.5”      $280

14” x 20”        $420

16.5’ x 23”      $560

Larger sizes are available upon request; however, I don’t offer smaller sizes as it limits the amount of detail I can include. Please contact me for quote on more than one subject or portraits that include the entire animal.

Photographs

Whenever possible, I prefer to take my own reference photos. Photo sessions (within 50 miles) are included in the above pricing. Photo sessions outside of 50 miles are available with an additional cost. Photos taken by a professional photographer must be accompanied by a statement from the photographer allowing artist’s use.

My style is very detailed and I need a good quality, clear photograph to work off. A digital copy is preferable; however, I can work off a hard copy as well. Unfortunately, if I do not feel that I can produce a quality portrait based on the available photographs, I will have to refuse the commission.

Portraits are supplied with an acid-free, pre-cut mat and an acid-free acetate cover. If framing is requested, I will provide professional framing from Aaron Brothers (Michaels) at my cost. Additional information available upon request.
